Southland College Prep Charter High School

Southland’s program is academically rigorous, intellectually stimulating, and personally engaging. Even with our nine-hour day, student learning is not limited to the classroom experience. After 5:00 pm when classes end, Southland student begin their extra-curricular activities such as speech and forensics, dance, band, and chorus. Inter-scholastic athletic teams include track, basketball, volleyball, golf, tennis and bowling.
Southland students are encouraged to take advantage of opportunities beyond the school walls through the school year and summer, including college field trips, summer camps and seminars at higher education institutions such as Howard University and University of Chicago, and a range of internship opportunities with entities such as Morgan Stanley and Deutsch Bank.
