Last year, Dr. Davis started a proud new tradition here at Southland: 

rewarding the top 5 ranked students in the Junior and Senior classes with official Southland letterman jackets. As a special privilege, these spectacular students are authorized to wear their jackets throughout the school day in place of their standard blazers.
